Impact Players

Brandon Domeyer is the highest scoring running back in the Iowa Conference at 8.2 points per game. He’s lethal in short-yardage situations, but faces a challenge against Simpson, the top rush defense statistically in the conference (110.9 yards per game). Quarterback Logan Schrader, who is second in the IIAC in total offense, could have a field day against a Storm defense that ranks last in pass defense and interceptions. Linebacker Will Janssen followed up a fumble recovery for a touchdown against Luther with an interception at BV. He’s ninth in the IIAC with 63 tackles.

Simpson linebackers Brandon Abernathy and Shane Venteicher face their toughest test of the season in Wartburg’s offense. They could use some help from QB Dylan Berkey (197.9 yards per game) and the Simpson offense, which was shut out by Central last week.
