Iowa is now one of four states to ban test drives and selling of the Tesla cars at local dealers.
Texas, Arizona and Maryland are the other three states with the same ban on the car.
With the ban, Tesla will not be able to sell their cars from a standard car dealership within Iowa, nor will drivers be able to test drive one anywhere in Iowa.
This does not mean drivers cannot buy a Tesla from their online website, which is still legal to do in all of the aforementioned states.
The major issue in importing a Tesla into one of these states is that there will be very few if any available charging stations.
Being an electric car, owners will need to recharge the battery.
This is yet another big issue that Tesla has been having in trying to enter the automobile market in the United States.
